As bikers spend their last weekend of the 2011 Harley Rally on the Grand Strand, the profile of today's biker is far from the long-past image of young leather-clad rebels invading a small town, intent on hellraising. Many of today's rally-goers are professionals.

The Carolina Harley Davidson Association moved its rally to New Bern, North Carolina three years ago, in protest of the now repealed Myrtle Beach helmet law.
