Around 3:40 p.m., a man wearing "obviously fake facial hair" robbed the Conway National Bank located at 110 North Kings Highway in North Myrtle Beach, according to city spokesman Pat Dowling.

A 59-year-old man has been jailed in Gastonia, N.C., on charges of larceny after allegedly robbing an RBC Bank for $1 so he could get health care in prison. He also reportedly had hopes of collecting social security and retiring to the Grand Strand.
