Officials say the expanded facility at Seacoast Medical Center now includes 32 medical surgical beds, eight beds in the intensive care unit, and 10 beds in the progressive care unit.

A patient from the Florence region has been diagnosed with a case of Norwegian Scabies. That patient is in the Medical Intensive Care Unit of McLeod Health in Florence.
