Thursday, May 19, 2011  Horry County Fire Rescue says Myrtle Beach will host the "Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge World Challenge" again this November. The event has been called "the toughest two minutes in sports" and draws fire departments from all over the world.

Saturday, April 09, 2011  Saturday and Sunday Horry County Fire Rescue invited other fire fighters from other fire departments in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Florida, Virginia, and Ontario, Canada to train for upcoming competitions.
