You can help those less fortunate by donating some warmth, in the form of used coats, jackets, sweaters gloves and blankets. It's the annual Coats for Kids campaign. This is the sixth year Coast RTA is hosting the campaign.

Today was the 5th annual Coats for Kids distribution. Each year, the Coast RTA collects donated winter coats and other shirts, pants, and toys for area children in need.

Coast RTA, the Grand Strand's public transportation company, is working hard to organize the more than 500 Coats, hats, gloves and other clothing items collected throughout Horry County for the Coats for Kids campaign.

The Pawleys Island Rotary Club and St. Christopher's Kids are collecting children's coats for the Coats for Kids program. You can donate new or gently used coats in adult and child sizes.
