Circuit City, Goody's, Linens'N'Things. These are just a few of the big name retailers that have filed for bankruptcy and have since liquidated, or begun to liquidate all their stores.

Circuit City is the latest casualty of the sluggish economy.
The nation's second largest consumer electronics retailer is liquidating all merchandise at its remaining 567 stores in the U.S. and will then close all those stores.
