Three dogs were taken to the Animal Care Center in Conway last February because of neglect or abuse. As of Tuesday, two of the dogs were adopted. The third, Butch, would have been put down within days if he didn't find a home.

In February, Sasha, Butch and Buddy came into the Horry County Animal Care Center because of neglect and abuse by their owners.
