At least seven people were stranded on the banks of Black Creek in Darlington County. Sheriff Wayne Byrd says the stranded boaters called 911 Saturday night around 9 p.m. saying their boat sunk.

Starting at 6:00 a.m. Monday, the Barefoot Swing Bridge in North Myrtle Beach will be closed. Contractors are painting the bridge because the paint on it right now is lead based.
