Two men arrested after trying to redeem stolen lottery tickets

Two Sumter men have been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary at a Sumter convenience store Sunday at 4:20 a.m. where an assortment of State Education Lottery tickets were stolen.
Marvin McBride, 23, was charged with Burglary 1st Degree and False Passing of Stolen Lottery Tickets.
Johnathan Goodman, 25, has been charged with Property Crimes 3rd or Subsequent Offense for Possession of Stolen Lottery Tickets.
The burglary was reported when the owner noticed the break-in.
An assortment of $3, $5, and $10 lottery tickets were taken.
Sumter Police arrested the men Monday morning after they attempted to redeem the lottery tickets at a convenience store in Dalzell, SC.
