A left traffic lane that turns off of Highway 501 Conway bound near Chick-fil-A is being closed Wednesday.
Department of Transportation officials are working on issues with wires, according to Corporal Sonny Collins with South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Collins does not believe the closure will impact Highway 501 traffic.
The left lane closure will likely last all Wednesday.
According to Highway Patrol's website, there is a traffic light defect at the intersection of Highway 501 and Waccamaw Pines Dr.
