Due to the potential for severe weather, some schools are releasing early and some after school activities have been cancelled. See the list below:
Darlington County School District
- *School will dismiss at regular time. However, due to the potential for wind gusts, buses will be operating at a slower pace than usual and students may arrive home 15-30 minutes later than normal.
- *All afterschool and evening activities - including all practices, tutoring, academic and athletic events - have been canceled. YMCA afterschool care will continue as usual.
Florence School District Two:
- *Florence School District Two will dismiss at 2 p.m. Wednesday
- *All afternoon school activities have been canceled.
Florence School District Five:
- *Johnsonville Elementary School buses will leave at 1:45 p.m.
- *Johnsonville High School buses will leave at 2:30 p.m.
- *Johnsonville Middle School buses will leave at 2:45 p.m.
- *Car riders will immediately follow the buses.
- *All after school activities and functions are cancelled.
Hartsville
* Byerly Park will be cancelling all activities this evening. The Coach. T.B. Thomas Sports Center will close at 5 p.m.
