One of the men who deputies say killed a 71-year-old Army veteran in his home is back in Marion County.

Marco Sanders was arrested in New York.

He's awaiting a bond hearing at the Marion County Detention Center.

Deputies say his co-conspirator, Tyrell Woods, turned himself in the week of the murder.

Samuel Rowell was found in his home on Phill Court bound, gagged, and shot to death on July 4th. The sheriff called the killing a senseless, cold-blooded assassination.

Rowell left behind a wife and 15 children.
