Horry County police arrested a Cheraw man for a kidnapping and sexual assault in Little River.
Police say a woman gave a ride to Anthony Leon Daniels, 43, about 4 a.m. Wednesday.
She told police Daniels sexually assaulted her during the ride. She says Daniels told her he was taking her to the North Carolina line to kill her.
The woman jumped out of the moving car and called police.
Officers found a man that matched the victim's description of the suspect. They arrested Daniels and found he was also wanted out of Alabama for probation violations.
Police charged Daniels with Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree and Kidnapping. He's being held in J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
