Traffic lights dangle across US 17 in front of Lowe's in Surfside Beach.

According to Highway Patrol, the accident was called in around 7:40 a.m.

Lance Corporal Sonny Collins said an 18-wheeler truck turned too sharp into the Lowe's parking lot and hit the light pole.

Collins said one northbound lane is closed on US 17 and will be for a few hours.

The Highway Patrol website says there are no injuries.
