An Horry County man died Sunday afternoon after getting into an accident on his motorcycle.
The accident happened Saturday night on Dogwood road off Highway 90.
Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard says the victim is 56-year-old Johnnie Sinclair of Longs.
State troopers say just before 8:00 p.m Saturday Sinclair was on his motorcyle when he hit a dog. Sinclair was thrown off his bike into a mailbox.
Officials say he was wearing a helmet.
Willard says Sinclair died from his injuries at Grand Regional Medical Center just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
