The Saint Nicholas Winterfest kicked-off Wednesday in Conway.
It all started with a golf tournament at Conway Country Club, attended by some large, lovable livestock. Five Star Farm in Loris provided Camille the camel and Khan the llama.
Saint Nick was also there.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church coordinates the festival to raise money for things like Haiti Relief, the Horry County Shelter and the Salvation Army.
The fun continues for the next three days. Thursday, the Conway Christmas Cuisine and Auction is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It's described as a taste of the town event.
Friday, there's a Best Q in Conway contest. The St. Nicholas Winterfest Arts and Market runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner with the Gabriels is set for 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Roman Gabriel III will speak of inspiration and reflection. His son Roman Gabriel, an NFL quarterback for the Rams and Eagles, will also be there.
On sunday, the Winterfest Arts and Market continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can catch Camille and Khan at the petting zoo at the market.
All events take place at the Peanut Warehouse in Conway.
