The Darlington County Combined Drug Unit, along with the Florence County Drug Unit, arrested three Hartsville women for prostitution Wednesday afternoon.
The Darlington County Sheriff's office says Jennifer Keeney, 20, Maria Bishop, 32, and Sara Abson, 60, were arrested and charged with attempting prostitution and attempting to purchase crack cocaine.
According to a news release, deputies designed the sting to combat street prostitution in Hartsville. Darlington County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Andy Locklair says the three women were arrested after they agreed to trade sex for drugs to undercover officers.
Locklair says all three are in jail awaiting bond.
