Walmart is hiring approximately 350 associates to work at the new Supercenter opening this spring near Carolina Forest. A temporary hiring center is now open at 2999 Hard Rock Park Blvd. in the Old Waccamaw Pottery Building in Myrtle Beach.
The hiring center began accepting applications Monday, March 23rd and will continue accepting applications from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
According to Store Manager Scott Brisson, the store will be hiring both full- and part-time associates to work in all areas of the new store, including management.
Wal-Mart offers benefits to eligible full- and part-time associates - include healthcare insurance with no lifetime maximum. Wal-Mart also offers a 401(k) plan and profit sharing contributions, whether an eligible associate contributes or not, store discount cards, stock purchase program and life insurance. Additionally, associates are eligible for company performance-based bonuses.
The majority of associates will begin work in May to help prepare the store for its grand opening in late spring.
