COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -During the month, advocates of sexual assault victims will meet to talk about prevention, treatment and healing services provided in South Carolina.
On Tuesday, officials with the South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault will hold a news conference to discuss what services sexual assault centers offer across the state. Coalition members provide an array of services, including prevention education and going to the hospital with a victim.
Attorney General Alan Wilson is scheduled to speak at the event at the Statehouse.
