Video gambling machines have been illegal in the state since 2000, but new machines that seem to skirt the law are popping up in many towns.

Horry County police seized 24 computers from a Little River business Tuesday. Police are calling the machines illegal gambling devices, but required the assistance of county prosecutors because such busts are new for Horry County. They say there's a legal gray area about what's illegal and what isn't.
