UPDATE: The Horry County Coroner's office has identified the person who was killed in last night's shooting as Jamell McFadden, 35, of Kingstree. They say McFadden died at the hospital at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday morning from his gunshot wound.

Joseph Jolly Jr., 18, of Myrtle Beach died as a result of a shooting, said Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler. Horry County Police Lt. Keith Strickland says it happened at 9:30 p.m. at 1665 Racepath Street, which is located near U.S. 501 and Robert Grissom Parkway.
