Wednesday, August 10, 2011  Wednesday morning, Chesterfield County Council met to discuss the county's animal shelter, following an five-month investigation of the shelter by the South Carolina Attorney General's Office.  Five former animal shelter employees are accused of shooting and killing as many as 22 dogs in March.

Wednesday, August 03, 2011  Just hours after we were notified that four animal shelter employees were fired by the Chesterfield County Sheriff, the state Attorney General's office announced a consent order regarding the incident where the employees were accused of shooting as many as 22 dogs, as a form of euthanasia, and burying them in a landfill.
