MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina residents who want to see the USS Yorktown are getting a special break on the admission price.

This weekend, the Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum on Charleston Harbor in Mount Pleasant is letting South Carolina residents pay what they can afford for admission to the attraction that features the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown.

Parking is normally $5 a vehicle and admission is $18 per person. South Carolina residents must bring proof of residence to take advantage of the promotion that continues through Sunday.

As always, military personnel in uniform and children younger than 6 are admitted free.
