The deadly accident happened on 17 bypass and Wachesaw Road at 1:30 Sunday morning.

Georgetown County Coroner Kenny Johnson says the victim is 22-year-old Jacob Miller of Jamestown, South Carolina.

Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins with the Highway Patrol says the driver of a Ford Expedition traveling north on highway 17 attempted to make a left turn onto Wachesaw Road when he hit Miller, who was traveling south on highway 17 on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Collins says the name of the driver of the Expedition is not being released because he's underage. Charges are possible.

Miller died from head trauma at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center several hours after the crash.
