The Society of Stranders are back and shagging on the Grand Strand.

If you're not familiar, The Shag is South Carolina's state dance. The dance is done to Beach Music, the official music of South Carolina.

Each spring, the Society of Stranders hold a "Spring Safari" in North Myrtle Beach. The ten day festival, which started Friday, includes Shag lessons, contests and lots of just dancing for fun.

Here's a link to the schedule of events.
