38th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach is about to get a little wider.
This week the city sealed a deal with a contractor to widen 38th Avenue North between Grissom Parkway and U.S. 17.
The road will be expanded from two lanes to five.
The 2.1 million dollar project also calls for sidewalks and bike lanes and should be finished in April of next year.
