It's time for the stars to shine and strap on their dancing shoes in Horry County.
A pairings party was held Tuesday night for the Dancing with the Horry County Stars event.
The local celebrities have until November to learn a dance with their professional partners.
They'll then perform in front of judges and an audience.
This is all to raise money for BE2: The Early College High School and the Longbay Symphony.
"you know, when you really put it together, people care about family of origin. They care about educating their children. They care about the culture, and we kind of got it all right here and this event really promotes all of those things," said Marsha Griffin who coordinates the event.
This is the third year for the event, and our own Amanda Kinseth of Carolina and Company will be competing again this year.
