Myrtle Beach city council Tuesday voted to move an alley way for a new, almost 200-foot Sky Wheel.
If built, the Sky Wheel will be the largest ferris wheel east of the Mississippi.
It will feature gondolas that will be heated and air-conditioned, so people can enjoy the ride any season.
The Golden Villas Hotel will be demolished if the plans move forward.
The alley next to the hotel will now be moved, which will also allow more room for Plyler Park.
