Raising money for the March of Dimes, which fights premature births, the Signature Chefs Auction is an annual event that pays tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs, restaurant owners, and caterers on the Grand Strand.
Held Sunday night at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes, money was also raised through silent and live auctions.
We talked with the artist behind the first live auction item.
"Any organization that fights for the life of children is a worthy cause, and children don't have, they can't speak for themselves, so they need those others like March of Dimes to fight for them," said artist Caitlin Beidler.
