COLUMBIA, SC -- The William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center is celebrating a new addition to their medical facility.
The hospital is opening an inpatient Hospice and Pallative Care unit called Warriors Walk. The 10-bed unit has a program to help veterans during the last period of their lives. The center says the unit has a home-like atmosphere.
The celebration kicks off with an open house Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM. The Warriors Walk is located on Ward 3-W of the medical surgical building.
