Living legend Mario Andretti is making an appearance Saturday night at the Myrtle Beach Speedway off of Highway 501.

Andretti who was coined the "Driver of the Century" by RACER magazine is well known for his racing accomplishments.

According to his biography, he is a four-time Indy Car National Champion, a former Formula One World Champion, winner of the 1967 Daytona 500 and also the 1969 Indianapolis 500 winner.

Andretti is coming to the speedway as a part of Vintage Car Show.

The race champ will arrive at the track via helicopter around 5:50 p.m. and will participate in the weekly drivers meeting.

Andretti will visit fans in VIP boxes. He is not scheduled for a meet and greet.

Tickets for adults are $12 and kids 12 and under get in free.

The gates open at 5 p.m. and races start at 7:30 p.m.
