For more than 30 years, holiday decorations on Sessions Street in Conway have been a community tradition. The neighborhood residents create a Christmas wonderland as they start to decorate their homes and yards on Thanksgiving Day.
This year, the members of North Conway Baptist Church are joining in on the celebration to create a Sunday evening street festival.
On December 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sessions Street will be open to foot traffic only.
The holiday festival is set to take over the Sessions Street neighborhood from 16th to 17th Avenue.
The festival will feature a live Nativity scene complete with animals.
Visitors will experience the real reason for the season while sharing in the complimentary hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes.
This event is free to the public.
Parking for the event is available in the lot at the brick Aberdeen building off of 16th Avenue at Sessions Street; or in rear Church parking lot off McDermott Street from Main Street or 16th Avenue.
