Hometown: Chapel Hill, NC

Taylor attended East Carolina University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism with a double minor in Sports Studies and Spanish. At ECU, Taylor was a reporter for the campus TV station and was the Panhellenic President. She was also an ECU Ambassador Executive Board member where she was able to work with admissions, athletics and alumni.

Although she is an ECU pirate on paper, she stays true to her North Carolina roots....Go Heels!

In 2008, Taylor did an internship here at WPDE in the News Department and when she graduated in 2010, she decided to go to graduate school and get her masters degree in Interactive Media from Elon University.

While at Elon University, she did freelance web work for various businesses in the community and was a sports reporter for the Elon Sports Network. While researching her thesis, you could find Taylor at WFMY News 2 in Greensboro, NC in the Sports Department. After graduating, she packed her bags and headed towards the Grand Strand.

Taylor is thrilled to be working on the Grand Strand and when she is not helping to keep www.carolinalive.com your #1 website, she is spending time with her family, friends and soon to be husband or checking out the latest news and sports updates on her iPhone.....never without that iPhone.

If you have any cool pictures, video, or story ideas, send them my way....I LOVE a good viral story!
