Tim joined the NewsChannel 15 team in early 2009. He brings more than 15 years experience in television news.
Before arriving on the Grand Strand, Tim worked for TV stations in Augusta, GA, Savannah, GA, and Peoria, IL.
He started his career as a photojournalist, and over the years has worked as a news producer, reporter, and now anchor.
During his time in television, Tim has covered the Olympics, hurricanes, and was in Kuwait, just south of the Iraq border, days before the Iraq War started in 2003.
Tim has covered local, state and national politics for NewsChannel 15, and hosts Carolina This Week, a program that focuses on issues facing the Grand Strand and Pee Dee.
When he's not in the newsroom or on assignment Tim enjoys spending time with his children. He is an amateur still photographer, and a self described "computer geek."
Tim and his family are happy to make the Grand Strand home.
