Graeme Moore
General Assignment Reporter

School: University of South Carolina
Hometown: Orangeburg, South Carolina

Graeme joined the NewsChannel 15 team in September 2007 as a reporter in our Florence Newsroom. In April of 2008, he was transferred to our Conway newsroom, where he now reports along the Grand Strand.

Before joining WPDE, Graeme worked at Fox News Channel in Washington, D.C., where he was an associate producer for the show "Weekend Live." He says it was a very exciting and challenging experience, but when the chance came up to report, he couldn't resist. That opportunity, coupled with being a little closer to home (Orangeburg) and to the great people of South Carolina, made the offer simply irresistable.

Graeme earned a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism and a minor in political science from the University of South Carolina. While at USC, he worked for a year at WIS-TV. He began there as a web producer before moving to the assignment desk.

In addition to his time at WIS, Graeme worked for "Carolina News," the student-run television station at USC. During his tenure there, he won numerous awards and honors for his reporting, including recognition from the Society of Professional Journalists, RTNDAC and the Hearst-Argyle national awards competition.
