Darren Stack Meteorologist
School: Villanova University Hometown: Daytona Beach, Florida
Darren Stack joined the First Alert weather team in July of 2006 from WRBL in Columbus, Georgia where he was the morning and noon meteorologist. During his two years in Columbus, Darren covered two of the most active hurricane seasons on record where Hurricanes Frances, Jeanne, and Katrina all brought a significant threat for severe weather to the area. Prior to working in Columbus, Darren began his career in Oak Hill, West Virginia at WOAY. Darren is a graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Comprehensive Science and has a Minor in Communication as well. In the spring of 2006, he was awarded the National Weather Association Broadcaster's Seal of Approval. Aside from his love for weather, Darren is a sports entusiast and even dabbles in the kitchen trying to cook up a good meal. He is an avid golfer that has played since he was 10 years old and recently has taken tennis back up since exchanging the racket for golf clubs.
