Alex Heaton joined WPDE in June of 2012 as the Good Morning Carolinas producer. She is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina. While at USC, Alex interned at WACH FOX 57 in Columbia and was a production assistant for American Idol Productions. She also produced content for PBS' Washington Week during the 2012 Republican presidential primary. When Alex isn't at work, she loves to cook and watch her Gamecocks play, especially if it's another bid at a College World Series Championship. Alex is excited about moving to Conway and is looking forward to meeting new people.
